The Conversation Piece series combines works from the Frans Hals Museum’s collection with contemporary works. In this special edition of Conversation Piece V, work by Glenn Brown will be hung with work by Van Nieulandt, Pieter Claesz, a portrait by Frans Hals and paintings by Goltzius, De Grebber, Mandijn and Cornelis van Haarlem. The Frans Hals Museum uses the Conversation Piece series to help visitors look at the collection of sixteenth and seventeenth-century paintings from a new perspective. http://www.franshalsmuseum.nl/en/
