The Pursuit of Love (after ‘Doublestar’ by Tony Roberts), 2022 by Glenn Brown
Glenn Brown’s first tapestry commissioned by the Max Hetzler Gallery was unveiled at the esteemed Manufacture PINTON in Felletin during the cutting from the loom ceremony that took place in presence of the artist. It has taken two months of planning, discussions, colour selections and dying and more than 7,000 hours (8 months) of weaving by 5 full-time experts (plus 5 more in the last month) to achieve this grand work.
Premiered at the Galerie Max Hetzler booth at Paris + Art Fair in October 2022.
