Here and Now: British Painters at the Serpentine Gallery from 1970 to the present: Serpentine Gallery, London
This exhibition featured over 30 British painters who had shown at the gallery over the course of the 24 years since it opened in 1970. This was a unique opportunity to see work by some of Britain’s best-known artists, each represented by one significant painting. The range of work in the show was a lively reminder of the diversity of the Serpentine’s exhibition programme, as well as its commitment to presenting both emerging and established artists.
